We represent international youth who are rejecting the status quo embodied by technology.

Technology, including smartphones, digital assistants, streaming services, video games, and wearables, is stripping humanity of our ability to relate to others and ourselves in genuine and healthy ways. It has made consumerism "cool." It is a tool of the ruling class oligarchy that wants us to be a totally moldable and predictable herd of human resources to generate more wealth and power for THEM.

In the 21st century, the struggle against technology will be one and the same with the struggle against totalitarianism, environmental degradation, and oppression.

We have grown up surrounded by the internet and smartphones. We are not impressed. These technologies are now more about distraction, alienation, and destructive commerce than about communication or freedom. We see the people around us and they are not happy. Technology has not set them free. Just the opposite.

We reject the tantalizing frivolity of technology, the tactics designed by corporate technicians and psychologists to steal our consciousness.

Artifical intelligence threatens life as we know it. Delusional billionaires believe they will be immortal and conquer the universe. The military industrial complex has destroyed many trillions in resources. Nuclear energy and weapons technology threaten to destroy all life on the planet. Capitalism's scientists and technocrats have proven themselves to be illegitimate, malicious and irresponsible authorities. They should be relieved of duty.

If you're anti-technology why do you have a website? You're a hypocrite.

We aren't fanatics. We argue for putting limits on technology, not a total prohibition. The internet was once filled with pages like this one--made by real people to communicate their ideas. Like every aspect of our lives, it has been coopted by corporate greed and ruling class subversion of humanity. We can use these tools within limits. But we must resist their attempts to use us.

Isn't technology neutral? Can't it be used for good and ill?

Our current dominant technologies were built within certain paradigms of coercive capitalism, militarism, empire, and anti-democratic ideology. They can be used for pro-social purposes, but their frameworks were designed within the paradigm of social control and limitless extraction.

Are you against medical technology that saves lives?

We wouldn't necessarily deny anyone the right to benefit from such technology. But the history of inequality, environmental degradation, and rapacious profit in developing such technologies should be questioned.
